Cafe Pfannkuchle in Coburg

Nice cafe, nothing special in terms of taste, OVERPRICE! Sorry but if you really want to eat something tasty on the side then go somewhere else. The latte was delicious.

Very nice service and got a place even without a reservation during Corona times.

Saturday afternoon at 5:20 p.m. in groups of four to the Pfannküchle (closes at 6:00 p.m. !!) "We only have apple strudel, hot drinks only black coffee" "OK, 2x apple strudel with ice cream please", 5min, "Ice cream is already covered, I can't bring it anymore", great service that is second to none. Unfortunately my last visit.

We were here with a group of 6 people. The hearty pancakes were good, the hearty ones very tasteless. Food was ok, but service a disaster. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks to be taken. Service was visibly annoyed. We sat for two and a half hours to order and eat, since after the meal no one came to cash in. Within 30 minutes we approached the waitress 3 times that we would like to pay, but as I said it took 30 minutes until she came.

Positive: good taste, the strawberry jam was very tasty, the fruit salad was fresh Negative: unfriendly service who couldn't tell me what kind of grain rolls there are. A no go, especially for allergy sufferers. The rolls could be bigger.

Nice location with friendly service and the best ice milk shake I've ever drunk and it was lovingly decorated. Thank you very much!

Friendly and courteous service, no long waiting times and every single dish, drink or ice cream tastes great. The only thing that could be improved is the way the boss deals with the employees.

Nice surroundings, but the service is inattentive and unfriendly, wearing MNS correctly is not difficult :) Drinks only came after 30 minutes even though not all tables were occupied. The second star only as praise to the kitchen. It's a shame.

Great environment but unfortunately bad service. The coffee came quickly, but the rest of the breakfast took time. In the meantime the coffee was cold. The service was very unmotivated. The next tables were only cleared when new guests took their places. The disinfection of the places was poor.

Wearing MNS is a challenge. The iced tea is extremely expensive at € 5 for 0.4l. The waffles are average. You sit well there and you are served quickly.

Positive: - simply great taste Negative: - Operation seems stressed and uncoordinated - 2 dishes ordered, one came after 5 minutes and the other after 35 minutes, a meal together is not possible, very poor gastronomic performance with less than half the load. It is usually prepared in such a way that both meals come at the table at the same time.

The caramel cappuccino was very good to be recommended. Ate a tiramisu slice and waffle with sugar + cinnamon both delicious. Service was good and service very friendly.

Food, drinks and service are great. However, you really have to bring a lot of time with you.

So far I've only tried one waffle with ice and tea there. The tea was good and the homemade ice cream was delicious. The atmosphere there is also relaxed and modern.

3.95€ for a large coffee the size of 300ml is ridiculous. For that price you should get at least 750ml and a croissant.

Warm atmosphere, great selection of Pfannküchle ... The menu is extensive, almost a book, clearly what the appetite suggestion, well done. My choice was the Little Red Riding Hood, compared to a typical pizza from the crowd felt a bit more and a crass mix of culinary delights. My son enjoyed an ice cream with his friend and they liked the atmosphere as well. The space is enough for smaller groups up to an estimated 30 men, more accurate can definitely ask the real friendly staff. In the summer there are logically also places outside overlooking a historic marketplace ... Pictures of my food and a few impressions can be found here on Google Maps, unfortunately, for reasons of privacy in terms of people, I could not do more of the interiors ... However, it turned out to be a well visited and popular place.

Beautiful place in front of Marktplatz to have breakfast or to eat an ice-cream. The workers are very friendly.

Cozy restaurant with great ambiance and good food and price values. Was already there twice and at the next visit to Germany again a breakfast must go there.
